The service

SnapReceipt is operated by Afterrealism (Canberra, Australia). SnapReceipt extracts structured data from receipt and invoice photos and runs arithmetic checks on the results. The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

Accuracy

OCR is fallible. Extracted fields and arithmetic flags are aids to review, not a substitute for it. You are responsible for verifying data before it enters your books, tax filings, or any financial record. We publish our measured accuracy openly so you can judge fit.

Your data

Your receipts and extracted data remain yours. You may delete them at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to disrupt or probe the service beyond normal use, no uploading material you have no right to possess. We may suspend access for abuse.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapReceipt is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including bookkeeping errors, lost profits, or lost data) arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
